Important: Sendero Home is currently available only for supported condominiums that have been onboarded to our service. If your condominium is not yet part of our network, please contact us to discuss bringing our services to your community.

Is My Condominium Supported?

Sendero Home currently works only with condominiums that have been onboarded to our service and have our access control hardware installed. If you're unsure whether your condominium is supported:

  1. Check with your condominium administrator
  2. Contact us at info@senderohome.pro to verify
  3. Look for Sendero Home signage or hardware at your building's entrance

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

How do I register as a resident/admin?

For Residents in Supported Condominiums:

  1. Verify your building is supported - Check with your administrator or contact us
  2. Download the Sendero Home app from the App Store or Google Play
  3. Tap "Sign Up" on the welcome screen
  4. Enter your email address and create a secure password
  5. Provide your full name and phone number
  6. Enter your condominium unit number
  7. Wait for manual approval - Our team will verify your residency with your building administrator
  8. You'll receive a notification when your account is activated

For Administrators in Supported Condominiums:

  1. Contact Sendero Home support at info@senderohome.pro
  2. Provide proof of your administrative role in the condominium
  3. We'll set up your admin account with full management privileges during the onboarding process

Important: Registration is only available for residents of condominiums that have been onboarded to our service.

How can I reset my password?

  1. Open the Sendero Home app
  2. Tap "Forgot Password?" on the login screen
  3. Enter your registered email address
  4. Check your email for a password reset link
  5. Follow the link and create a new password
  6. Return to the app and log in with your new password

If you don't receive the email within 5 minutes, check your spam folder or contact support.

How do I manage my condo or add residents?

For Administrators:

  1. Log into your admin account
  2. Navigate to "Resident Management" in the main menu
  3. To add residents:
    • Tap "Add Resident"
    • Enter resident information (name, email, unit number)
    • Send invitation via email
  4. To manage existing residents:
    • View the resident list
    • Tap on any resident to edit their information
    • Use the toggle to activate/deactivate access

Note: All resident additions require verification through our onboarding process.

How does the access control system work?

Our access control system integrates with your existing infrastructure through our cloud-connected hardware:

Hardware Setup:

  • Sendero Home device is installed on top of your existing access control system
  • No replacement of your current gates or locks required
  • Cloud connectivity enables remote management and monitoring
  • Backup systems ensure access even during internet outages

Digital Access Methods:

  • QR Code Access: Generate a unique QR code from the app to scan at the gate
  • Bluetooth Proximity: Automatic gate opening when you approach (if enabled)
  • Visitor Codes: Temporary access codes for guests
  • Time-Based Access: Set specific hours when access is allowed
  • Admin Override: Administrators can grant emergency access

All access attempts are logged and monitored through our cloud platform for security purposes.

What should I do if I can't access my account?

  1. Verify building support - Ensure your condominium is onboarded to our service
  2. Check your internet connection - Ensure you have a stable Wi-Fi or cellular connection
  3. Verify your credentials - Make sure you're using the correct email and password
  4. Check account status - Your account may be pending manual verification
  5. Update the app - Ensure you're using the latest version

My building doesn't have Sendero Home yet. How can we get it?

If you're interested in bringing Sendero Home to your condominium:

  2. Provide building details - Name, location, number of units, current access system
  3. Schedule a consultation - We'll assess your building's needs and compatibility
  4. Review service agreement - We'll present pricing and service options
  5. Installation scheduling - Once approved, we'll schedule hardware installation

Timeline: The onboarding process typically takes 2-4 weeks from initial contact to full deployment.


Troubleshooting

Common Issues and Solutions

App won't open or crashes on startup

  • Force close the app and restart it
  • Restart your device
  • Check for app updates in the App Store/Google Play
  • Verify your building is still supported (contact support if unsure)
  • If the problem persists, uninstall and reinstall the app

Push notifications not working

  1. Check your device notification settings:
    • iOS: Settings > Notifications > Sendero Home
    • Android: Settings > Apps > Sendero Home > Notifications
  2. Ensure notifications are enabled in the app settings
  3. Check your device's "Do Not Disturb" settings

QR code not scanning at the gate

  • Clean your phone's camera lens

  • Hold the phone steady and at the correct distance
  • Try generating a new QR code from the app

Reinstalling the App
